Jaime D. Crowley, Ph.D.

Dr. Crowley is a licensed psychologist who provides individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults struggling with a range of emotional and behavioral difficulties. She obtained her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the APA-accredited program at UT Southwestern Medical Center. During her training, Dr. Crowley gained diverse experience working with patients across a variety of clinical and medical settings, including schools, hospitals, and mental health clinics. In her Postdoctoral Fellowship, she specialized in treating anxiety disorders using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and consulting with parents of children with behavioral challenges (e.g., ADHD).

Dr. Crowley also co-authored a therapeutic children’s book, Moose the Worry Mutt Goes to Doggie Daycare, based on her anxious but affable chocolate Lab, Moose. The book is a playful and accessible way to teach children about worries and model healthy coping strategies for managing anxiety. Dr. Crowley engages in patient-centered care, which includes working empathically and collaboratively with individuals, their families, and other health care providers to improve overall mental health and well-being. She currently offers individual therapy services utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities as well as parent consultation.

 

Hayley Fournier, Ph.D.


 

Dr. Fournier is a licensed psychologist who provides individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults struggling with a variety of challenges. She also provides consultation to parents and family members of those affected by these challenges.

Dr. Fournier received her doctoral degree from the APA-accredited Clinical Psychology Graduate Program at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She subsequently completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. 

Dr. Fournier helps patients identify and explore the feelings, thoughts, and behaviors contributing to their struggles with the goal of reduced symptoms and distress and improved coping and overall functioning in work, school, and relationships.

Dr. Fournier enjoys working collaboratively with patients and coordinating treatment efforts with complimentary mental health and medical professionals to help patients achieve their goals and ultimately experience a better quality of life.
 

 

Clair Moore Gioia, Ph.D.


 

Dr. Gioia is a licensed psychologist who provides individual psychotherapy and psychological evaluations to older adolescents and adults. While a faculty member at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dr. Gioia served as the Director of Inpatient Psychology at Parkland Hospital, and she has now joined Dallas Wellness Group. 

In addition to treating general difficulties with anxiety, depression, and life stress, Dr. Gioia has unique experience in helping patients who have suffered from the effects of both recent and remote trauma as well as patients coping with psychotic symptoms who are adjusting to a new psychiatric diagnosis. She additionally works with patients and caregivers adjusting to neurodegenerative diseases. She approaches treatment by tailoring the therapy to the individual and his or her goals. In order to help her patients find self-awareness and acceptance she frequently integrates mindfulness-based techniques when treating trauma, psychosis, difficulties managing intense emotions, and life changes. 

Dr. Gioia completed her doctorate at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where she completed an APA-Accredited internship. She additionally fulfilled a postdoctoral fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital. She continues to be involved in teaching and supervision through the medical school.

 

Fred Gioia, M.D.


 

Dr. Gioia is a licensed, board-certified adult psychiatrist and a graduate psychoanalyst from the Dallas Psychoanalytic Center.

Dr. Gioia takes a comprehensive approach towards treating each patient providing both psychoanalytic psychotherapy and medication if necessary. He works collaboratively with patients and medical teams including, but not limited to, therapists, medical doctors, and dietitians. He specializes in working with patients suffering from depression, anxiety, panic, or trauma, and adult ADHD in addition to work or relationship-related stressors.

Dr. Gioia believes ultimate goal of therapeutic work is to not only relieve suffering but to promote greater fulfillment in life. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy works toward these goals through developing greater self awareness as well as utilizing the relationship with the therapist as a window towards understanding an individual’s mental life. After completing a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Virginia, Dr. Gioia went on to obtain a master’s degree in applied cognition and neuroscience from the University of Texas at Dallas. He then received a medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center and completed his residency in psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical center in Dallas where he emphasized integration of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. He is also a clinical instructor at UT Southwestern Medical center.

Dr. Gioia does not accept insurance. However patients may want to check with their insurance carrier to determine the potential for out-of-network reimbursement for visits.
